From "The Photographs of Margaret Bourke-White" published in 1972 by the New York Graphic Society. "For years Bourke-White photographed the life cycle of these fearsome looking insects even carrying their egg cases on assignments in hopes of catching the delicate moment when they hatched. Once, while she was away, a colony hatched in her LIFE office creating near havoc when they migrated to the adjoining darkrooms".
