About This Image

This important study of this master of the mime by one of the masters of theater photography is a true rarity. Signed and editioned (3/25) in gray pencil on recto of the photograph in the lower margins. Size includes black photographic border. Also three of photographer's labels on verso. Perhaps used as an exhibition print and gifted to his dentist, Dr. Harry Schaeffer. It is doubtful that Waldman ever completed his editions on any of his images before he died in 1981. According to the archive records, only x prints of the planned edition of 25 were ever made in this size. Provenance: photographer; to his dentist, Dr. Harry Schaeffer; to his son. On 16 x 20 in. paper with large black borders. In new contemporary black frame.

Most U.S. domestic Fed Ex ground shipping (Media Mail for books) is free of charge except for larger and heavier items, or unless the buyer wants express shipping (email us your requests for the latter). International shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their local customs duties and taxes, which will be charged by Fed Ex, which will contact the client prior to delivery.
